Ursina Childs

Childs has been an enthusiastic tap dancer since childhood. She holds the title of Swiss and World Champion. She completed her basic tap education in Zurich (Regine Ochsner) and Winterthur (Daniel Borak). In workshops with international tap artists, she is constantly developing. She was accepted into the Pre-Professional Program of the «New York City Tap Festival» in 2006 and has received several scholarships for the Tap Festival «Rhythm World» in Chicago under the direction of Lane Alexander. She interpreted the «Tap Dance Concerto» by Morton Gould, on the occasion of the New Year's Concert 2012 of the Youth Orchestra, Winterthur, and numerous other performances followed. Besides her career as a tap dancer, she works as a graduated freelance designer. In 2022 she completed the internationally recognized training as a Polestar Pilates trainer.
